Thank you for the opportunity to introduce you to Kuracca Consultancy & Communications (White Cockatoo).  Kuracca is an Aboriginal business that advocates self-determination and self-management for the Indigenous people of this land.

Kuracca is an Aboriginal Business that has been established to assist government departments, community organisations and other agencies to provide services to meet the interests, concerns and issues of Aboriginal people.

Kuracca Consultancy is conducted by Kerry Reed-Gilbert, a Wiradjuri woman from NSW who works as an independent consultant for various Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community organisations and government departments.

One of the major roles of Kuracca is to address the Recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody, by specifically addressing and focusing on Recommendation 210, with the implementation of the Indigenous Culture, History & Heritage Training Program.

Indigenous Culture, History & Heritage Training programs

These are cultural awareness training programs for Indigenous and non-Indigenous People. Course structure provides participants with information & skills that will not only increase their own knowledge in relation to the history of this country, but also provides professional workplace and personal skills development that allow better communication & protocol between both Indigenous & non-Indigenous Peoples to take place.

Facilitation

As a facilitator Kuracca Consultancy brings knowledge, expertise and mediation skills to assist Community Organisations, Government Departments, and the participants to ensure a successful outcome for all parties.

Training & Development

Kuracca Consultancy has conducted and been involved in the development and implementation of relevant training such as performance management training for Community Organisations and Government Departments.

Social Research Consultancies

Social Research Consultancies: Kuracca Consultancy has extensive experience in conducting national and state evaluations, studies and reviews for both Government Departments and Community organisations nationally.

Life Coaching and Mentoring

Kuracca incorporates mentoring, life coaching and mediation techniques to assist government departments and community organisations to assist in staff retention and leadership development. The combination of mentoring and life coaching techniques is utilised by Kuracca to assist individuals to attain their ultimate goals both personally and to further develop their workplace professional skills to assist in their individual career development.

Community Development and Management

Kuracca Consultancy has conducted and been involved in the development and implementation of relevant community development programs nationally including organising and co-ordinating events and conferences.

Conflict Resolution and Mediation

Incorporating mentoring, life coaching, mediation processes, Kuracca assists government departments and community organisations to assist in professional and personal development, staff retention and further development.
